Well folks, we have it straight from the... elephants mouth!? That's right, a REPUBLICAN Congressman who states it's not our money. How shocked should we be? I'm not very surprised by this in the least. Here is the link to the interview on Neal Cavuto.

I've got news for him. Straight from Colonel Davie Crocket, Congressman. Straight from James Madison, Declaration of Independence author and framer. I've lately been getting a good education on the topic of governmental philanthropy. In the first place, its not theirs to give, in the second place they do a lousy job of managing it. and in the 3rd place, it winds up hurting the very people the claim to be helping.
